Sustainability
As an ‘Environmental Consultancy’ the promotion and development of sustainability is central to our approach to the design of building services in construction projects.

Whenever projects are planned, there are potential impacts upon the environment. The type and magnitude of the effect of the impact vary subject to the individual factors associated with that project. PinnacleESP has developed to a framework to minimise the environmental impact for a proposed project. In each project engineers consider the environmental ramifications of the project and steps that can be taken to minimise the ‘environmental load’.

We consider:

  • The design and specification of building services in a construction project.
  • The management of site activities and material sources.
  • Working with contractors to maximise the local benefits of the project.
  • Appraisal of the construction costs.
  • Manufacture and transportation of construction materials.
  • Efficient use materials on-site and operating costs.
  • Ecological and nuisance impact on the vicinity of the construction site.
  • Pollution incidents such as noise, dust and light pollution.
  • Appraisal of carbon monoxide emissions.
  • Introduction of CHP (Combined Heat and Power).
