The Turner Gallery, designed by David Chipperfield Architects, opened in 2011 and has rapidly become one of the most visited destinations in Kent.
 
Due to its ever-increasing popularity and success, a new project has been launched to reconfigure some of the existing facilities and ensure the long-term sustainability of the gallery.
 
Expansion works include reconfiguration of the WC facilities, an upgrade of the main café kitchen facilities, additional storage, improved signage and motorisation of a number of doors throughout the building.
 
It is proposed that a phased installation works are implemented to ensure the gallery remains fully functional during the construction works.
