PinnacleESP was appointed by Higgins Construction as mechanical and electrical engineers, as well as providing a full 3D Revit model.

 

The project comprises the demolition and replacement of the existing 1960’s tower block, providing 133 new build apartments all affordable for the local people.

 

PinnacleESP have been commissioned to undertake MEP services as well as develop a services model to BIM Level 2 using AutoCAD.

 

The 20-storey tower, will exceed its previous height at an impressive 80 metres, 20 metres taller than the original building.

 

The sprinkler system water supplies are located within the basement in a dedicated plant room, consisting of full capacity water storage tank and duplicate electric fire pumps with backup power supplies provided by UPS.

 

Waterproof concrete tanks will be installed at basement level as the basement itself will be converted to the boiler room.

 

The project value is estimated to be between £37-40 Million.
