PinnacleESP is providing full MEP design for this 9FE to 11FE school expansion at Greenshaw High School located in Sutton, Surrey from concept through construction and completion.

 

This exciting expansion project for the design and construction team comprises two main build elements. Firstly a new build three storey high extension and then a remodel of existing school in several phases.

 

The new build includes additional teaching and office spaces, improved circulation to existing spaces and improved ancillary spaces such as increased WC, dining / school hall and staffroom capacity.

 

Key design elements include for an upgrade to the existing electrical supply; passive ventilation with wind catchers to the south facing elevation upper floors, with heat recovery to lower floors; additional PV panels to meet Building Regulations Part L; energy efficient condensing boilers to serve underfloor heating and hot water.

To meet the 10% consequential improvements investment to the exiting school, there will be a change of lighting undertaken to more energy efficient LED luminaires.
