A new build project designed to provide a safe living environment for young people with severe behavioural difficulties. The building provides eight self-contained bedsits with communal kitchen, laundry, television room and management office space.

 

The building comprises anti-ligature elements for all services equipment with heating provided via under floor heating, zone controlled for each space. Electrical accessories are all flush mounted and all piped services concealed within the building fabric.

 

Fire alarm and controlled doors are provided with a two stage alarm to prevent the opportunity for nuisance tripping activated by the residents. All alarm systems are linked to BT Redcare GSM, connecting the centre to the emergency services in the event of a fire or emergency activation
