Pinnacle ESP have been appointed by Thomas Sinden Ltd to provide MEPH services design for two schools within the County of Hillingdon; Hillside Primary School and Warrender Primary School.
Both projects comprise phased internal refurbishment works to the existing buildings, as well as a new build block in order to increase the school capacities. Each school includes a new commercial Kitchen for the provision of school meals to the existing and new students.
Internal alteration works are to be carefully considered, accounting for the co-ordination of new and extended services with existing services and building structure, and the requirement for additional and extended services where room sizes are being increased. The new buildings are designed to meet with the Counties energy policy; with energy efficient and automated lighting control throughout, passive ventilation strategy and photovoltaic systems providing energy savings across each site.
