PinnacleESP have commenced the design of Bevan Road and Prentiss Court developments, working with Thomas Sinden, Peter Barber Architects and Clark Smith Partnership Structural Engineers.  The two sites earmarked for the new build developments are located between a number of existing buildings.  The architectural proposals are intricate in layout each comprising of twelve modern apartments and day centres for communal use.   A green roof will be designed throughout with photovoltaic panels integrated into the scheme.

The team are looking to achieve Secure by Design certification and follow the now superseded Code for Sustainable homes.  Mechanical Extract Ventilation and combination condensing boilers serving radiators are proposed as the most appropriate way to condition the spaces.  Existing external street lighting will be replaced with a more modern and subtle solution.  Washdown facilities will be provided to the bin stores and cycle areas, with each ground floor apartment having an external tap. 

The project is moving forward at speed and we are looking to conclude the design within the next couple of months.
