Pinnacle ESP have been appointed by Darwin Group Ltd to undertake the energy strategy and services design of the new Whitfield Aspen Primary School; a two form entry 504 pupil new build SEN development in the Whitfield Area of Dover.

 

The energy strategy offered services and sustainability options to the Client and proposes the use of photovoltaics to offset the schools electricity usage, and roof mounted wind terminals to naturally ventilate the multi-use Hall.

 

The services design has been undertaken to account for the needs of an SEN environment, with heating and hot water temperatures, lighting levels and fire strategies carefully considered to offer a suitable and comfortable environment to the occupants.
