QUEEN ELIZABETH FOUNDATION

The Queen Elizabeth Foundation is a charity which work to provide disabled people with skills to increase their independence and mobility and help them into employment.

Working alongside the design team; BSVP (Project Managers), LOM Architecture (Architects) and Conisbee (Structural Engineers), we have been developing the site wide phased development of a new 24 bedroom Care and Rehabilitation Centre which will provide specialist care and support to people with complex disabilities and those recovering from brain injuries.

The new Care and Rehabilitation Centre will provide a safe and comfortable environment for both staff and patients and one that is convenient in helping patients regain their independence.

As part of the new site development, a new Medical Engineering Resources Unit (MERU) workshop will be built to cater for the design and manufacturing of disability products and to make modification and repairs to existing products to meet their needs.
