Thomas Road

 

Thomas Road is a residential scheme of 64 new homes, made up of 1, 2, 3 and 5-bed apartments, as well as town houses. The homes are mixed tenure - private ownership, shared ownership and for rent.

 

PinnacleESP has been appointed to provide the full detailed  MEP design. To achieve the sustainable targets for the development, we designed a district heating scheme with gas fired CHP and thermal storage. Each dwelling is provided with a Heat Interface Unit and remote monitoring for billing by the landlord.

 

Due to the local network capacity limitations, a utility substation was required. PinnacleESP ensured the inclusion of the substation had limited impact on the development whilst maintaining the substation access requirements.
