PinnacleESP was employed as the MEP services consultant on a new build care village in Monmouth, Wales. The project included a new 93 bed care home, complete with new swimming pool, cinema, gym, library and café. The care home caters for residents with Alzheimer’s, dementia, learning disabilities, old age and physical disabilities. As well as the construction of the new care home the project also included 34 care houses situated around the site.

 

Each floor of the four-storey main care home required a hairdresser’s salon, three assisted bathrooms, three nurse stations, two drug stores, three sluice rooms, two lounges, and one dining and lounge area. The MEP services design also called for a specialist patient call and fall system which was installed in each care apartment as well as each bedroom.
