PinnacleESP was commissioned by HMY to carry out the mechanical and electrical design of a refurbishment of existing two storey office unit in Maidstone, Kent.

 

The project comprised reconfiguration of large open plan spaces to include sub-offices and meeting rooms together with new kitchen facilities. Existing air handling plant and heat pump fan coil units had to be reconfigured and extended to provide close-control cooling and heating within the new office spaces.

 

The detailed design brief required the design of new toilet areas, new meeting rooms, interview rooms and kitchen breakout areas.

 

Existing electrical services, general and emergency lighting, fi re alarm, security and IT services were configured to suit the proposed new layout.

 

New lighting, fire alarm and small power supplies were provided for the new kitchen area. Additional IT points and associated socket outlets were provided in meeting rooms and offices.
