PinnacleESP was appointed as MEP consultants on behalf of the client for a new single storey health facility set within the grounds of the existing Darent Valley Hospital in Kent.

 

The new building will house an ‘Older Adult Assessment Unit’, a ‘Day Hospital’ for 20 patients with 10 day care places and a 12 bay King’s Renal Dialysis Unit with a dedicated water treatment centre.  The success of this project relied upon close liaison with the client and end users to fulfil all of the employer’s requirements.

 

New medical gas installations, energy efficient lighting, ventilation, hot water and heating systems and sophisticated control and ICT systems formed part of the building services design.
