HIGHLY COMMENDED AT THE bciA awards 2015 for Building Project of the Year under £10m.

 

PinnacleESP was commissioned to design the building services for this new build, two-form entry school. This primary school is constructed using cross-laminated timber panels. The building was wrapped in brick similar to the surrounding buildings and splashed with shards of colour in the form of brise soleil and perforated metal balustrades.

 

Our brief was complex.  Our aim was to ensure the carbon footprint targets of the new building were met through the use of renewable energy sources, providing all of the building services infrastructure and zoning requirements for this multi-use site - nursery, primary school and community centre.
