PUBLIC SECTOR FUNDING

The Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS), aims to finance low carbon projects for public sector entities including schools, hospitals, and local councils. PSDS offers generous grants, covering up to 100% of eligible low or zero carbon initiatives. Public sector organisations seeking to reduce their carbon footprint and achieve cost savings through solar, heat pumps, connection to district heating schemes, lighting, BMS upgrades, or other renewable technologies can benefit from PSDS's support. Both funding programs specifically target buildings reliant on fossil fuel heating systems and adopt a holistic approach to decarbonization for entire buildings.

The UK government's Low Carbon Skills Fund (LCSF) offers comprehensive grants to public sector entities, enabling them to acquire the professional skills and expertise necessary for transitioning to low-carbon heating solutions within their properties. The fund prioritizes providing financial support for the implementation of Heat Decarbonisation Plans.
