St George’s Teaching Hospital, a long standing client for PinnacleESP, having been commissioned on a variety of projects over the last 21 years such as new operating theatres, ward upgrades, pathology, histopathology and mortuary installations, appointed us on their pharmacy on the Lanesborough Wing.

 

The Lanesborough Wing pharmacy was our final project with St George's. This incorporated the installation of an automated robotic dispensing system to modernise and streamline the dispensary. The sensitive environment had a requirement for close temperature control which led to a zoned air-conditioning solution in order to meet the cooling demands of the areas.  The pharmacy consists of a clinical trials room which undertakes long term research trials.  The room also houses the robot itself and the general storage and packing areas. A flexible system was required so that the indoor environmental quality and temperature was maintained to ensure the shelf life of the medication.
